i love the chinese new year~!~!~!
though i don't wish to sound like a 3 year old kid, but it's still a time to share, care, compliment and laugh. it's also a time to gamble hehe. and then through gambling we'll sometimes get to understand people's characters. (and sometimes it's a little disappointing. sighs.) -.-

also, always when there's a festival or some season we'd exchange gifts with our neighbour, like for example hari raya they'll give us some of their curry (damn nice!) and christmas we'd give them chocolates. then chinese new year haha, mom gave them 3 red packets for the children. guess what they gave us back? we got back TWENTY EGGS. we laughed like anything! anyway, mom returned them some oranges.

FOUR is the number of days we got to celebrate CNY this year, which is fantabulous.. however, I really didn't have enough time to complete my work and catch up with the syllabus, cos frankly we were out visiting for the four days. which was really tiring, but then the red packets are reassuring. can you believe that i collected more than 20 and still counting? haha.. but that doesn't mean that i'm rich now ok!

aiya... favouritism lah, my brother received a box of ferraro rocher while i didn't get anything. haiya. life's like this, i guess. he's 16, you see.
>what's his secret?, you ask?
>oh sure, he did share it with me. it's 'cute and cuddly'.

hehe, received some compliments (*blush) from my relatives.. felt like a little girl all over again. ah-hem. ello?! i'm eighteen liao ok! *blush

chantrea rose. what a beautiful name for the new baby. :) she's beautiful. Grandma's Brag Book.

she's so unemotional and stiff, she's almost like a stone. is she even capable of loving someone?

i liked the hunter dog. shannon. she's friendly and doesn't bark. her tail is a little long but it's cute. sometimes she goes under her covers to sleep. she doesn't like to bite, all her toys are still new. she likes to grip onto my arm and i like it (though it hurts!). see her again soon next year. :) wonder if she'll remember me. brown, white and black. nice eyes.

i like Trix too. he's black and white and lives in the church, at the friary. i can only look at him through the slits on the 2.5th storey. :) woof! you were complimented at mass, Trix! stay loyal!

well well. i guess this is the only evening that i'm free to do my WORK and study for the stupid chem test. sighsighsigh. starting now, i guess. sheesh still got some projects to rush through. OK! shall start work tmr~!

ok i've eighteened. another hurdle jumped. a million more to overcome.

thanks for the gifts, celebrations, presences and well wishes. gifts aren't important - it's the thought that counts, ya know? you don't know what it's like to turn 18 and nearing the 'first-digit-turning-2' years. man. people out there who're still young.. pls enjoy your school life and company you have.. cos you never know what's going to happen. you don't know how you can feel older overnight. older here doesn't mean lethargic. it just means... well..., older. the last day i was seventeen i went 'subbing' with those pple at subway. in town. i love halo bar. hehe. though some pple sang out of tune,... guess it's entertainment. and gosh, that stupid machine earned like more than 10 bucks in less than an hour? easy money, huh, when you got a game like that going. pool? nah, it's so loser. but fun. loserlly fun? :) thanks for the night. oh and thanks for smashing the cake into my face. lost my vision momentarily.. that moment of 'cold' and 'darkness'. pleasant shudders. :)

the worst birthday was my 17th birthday. that night i was so drowsy, like i was drunk. hehe. compare- it's like a before and after thing. hehe. couldn't even see the cake properly. haha, come to think of it, it was pretty lame. thanks for singing though, i'm sure my ears heard it but the brain couldn't recall anything.

the saddest birthday was my 14th birthday. i don't understand why it could be sad too, but i remember i cried on that day- not in a touched way, but in an emotional kinda way. guess it was probably the monthlies.
sigh, no one cares, just get on with the entry.

i'm just pissed with us not confirming the dates. come on man, there are opportunity costs to consider, and you made me waste that friggin afternoon and that friggin night. BLOODY CRAP. i only have like less than a year left? TIME IS MONEY, dude. LITERALLY, time is all i've got. and it's getting depleted by people like u. dammit.

but i'm not the petty sort. i keep cool, and i'm gonna turn out fine. so don't worry too mcuh. or try apologizing.

i don't understand what's the hurry. why do you have to rush it like that? it's so impulsive and absurd, but on the other hand it's the wisest thing to do, and guarantees you the most lamest job for a few months while waiting. i think it's the fear of getting unemployed. when all your friends settle down with some stable crappy job, you lurk around in the alleys, hoping some retard might take you in. it's that lame. THAT LAME. so you hurry to not lose out, not get eliminated in this society. to survive. and to survive in this crappy world you need to invest time. just like ATP synthesis, ya know? you gotta invest some crap, and it'll pay off. life's like this. chill out, what u yellin for?

dammit. the new phone's ringtone sux like anything. it sounds like it's in labour. frigging 19.90. the bloody company lied man- there're no '4 RINGTONES TO CHOOSE FROM'. Crap, should have tested it on the spot instead of rushing off to pass some crap to some other pple. That's TIME for you.

quite a draining day. thankfully i've had my fill at serene centre. it's the first time i ate at that whatever restaurant. the food is cheap and good man, i say, it's good stuff. thanks for bringing me there, guys.

i'm getting more interested in politics. maybe someday i'll be a politician. i've like lots and lots of opinions. hehe. hopefully i won't be sued for writing them down online. where's the freedom of speech? someday i'll blog it up. in any case i'll have to take some time to construct it so that it qualifies.. heck, i won't even bother typing it out here. why look for trouble when it isn't looking for ya, right? hehe. maybe someday i'll head some crappy and cannot-make-it opposition. my own party. what name shall we call it? i won't choose names like action, living, worker... heck, i'll decide when my party is formed.

maturing is great, but growing older....just isn't.

ok i think i've cooled down.
stopped the foul language at least.

anyway mom found some old kindergarden photos of mine. there was this particular class photo that I really liked. somehow, my other friends claim their kindergarden uniform was BLUE. but mine was PINK and grey. why ah? i remember my good friends. that time they still very cute. but now? dunno where they are. EdnoLand. Remember BoBo? heh. it was only 1994. hey wait. oh yah, correct.

i only remember MeiLi (or was it meiqi?), WenLi and i think there's a Daryl. Prakash.Will. William. i barely remember their names! at that time those water bottles were in fashion. i had one too. and jackets were in fashion, cos it was cold at our "playland". i remember begging dad to buy a yellow jacket that i really loved. cos there was a hero on television series that wore a similar yellow jacket. so no matter what i had to get it. and in the end i got it! gosh. what a brat.

there was a boy who wore big black-rimmed spects, those of a nerds' and his blouse was weird. but i think by now he should be a dude. cos when you were ugly when you were young, you tend to be beautiful when you get older. likewise for the opposite. (that explains for me.)

there was a girl who had long legs and long hair. she was a potential model evident from her pose.

i remember a boy, i remember his head. his head was slightly larger than a normal person's. i used to think he was really smart cos he had a big brain. but then he was just another noisy vessel. yak yak yak yak yak.

another girl was very quiet, but pretty. she used to bring around a white jacket. but i prefer my yellow jacket more. i used to hide in it after eating my food during break.

another one of my good friend. to me she had the potential to be some executive in some high-level office tower. she just looked tall and intelligent. but her voice was pitch high.

remember the times in kindergarden? we listened to the lame lessons, did some colouring, compared hairstyles, took lots of rubbish photos. we sang, we went to the toilets... and i remember the toilets didn't have LOCKS! and they were brand new! were they afraid we'll lock ourselves in or something?! the first time i used the new toilet i was horrified! and insulted. and i kept worrying what if some freak barged into my cubicle. we danced in the padded music room, some of us could not wear our shoes correctly, but at the end of the day were so carefree.

i remember walking home from 317, walking to Grandma's. we'd walk some of the kids, in the same direction home. on the way sometimes Grandma would get me some char siew pau. and some tidbits. that road is now gone, replaced by some block of flats.

these were the main people i remember. the rest are just part of my vague memory. but i'll always remember Ms Lim, who still works there. I've failed to visit her for Teachers' Day since dunno when... but she still remembers me. She's the mother figure of that place (it still exists, okay) and she simply rocks. But she's getting older. sigh. guess i'd better visit her this year.

and if there are any of my kindergarden friends who're reading this, please please please contact me! I'd like to revisit the beginning years of my life. Blk 317, JE. BOBOLAND! CONTACT ME!~
