WOO HOO!

The past few weeks have been gruelling, tiring and even terribly exasperating at times and you see the true colours of people within 14 days. Some good impressions turn out ugly and some ugly impressions turn out beautiful. Some of them become more beautiful each day. You see the quiet ones open up, and the noisy ones even noisier, and through it all there is this unspoken bond among us (esp within squads) and we know that our comradeship will last.
This is one team that shares the same dreams and passions, though I'm pretty sure each individual will go about it differently. I've met new people, lots more new faces with new personalities. On the field and it's different off the field. I have met mad dogs and men who look older than they really are. And kenna embarrassed by them via MIKE in front of EVERYONE 'seventh column first row blah blah blah'.. It's surprising that even the FIs know our names and I'm so paiseh to hop into one of the FI's car without knowing his name. But I don't care cos I needed a ride badly! Now, that FI speaks black and loves rap. How cool is that, man?
The female officers with me are good people and I think we are more hyped than the male officers. Some of them with background guided us every step of the way, and I'm proud of them for being willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Some of them have been in this org for like 8-10 years, so what little knowledge we had is considered nothing. And the seniors whom may at first appear aloof turn out to be so fun-loving once you get to know them. Well, SOME are still annoying no matter how much you know them. They're the kind to pick on every minute action you do. Xue Jing whom had no prior UG background didn't know what kakanan lurus was and she was also embarrassed by the mad dog via mike in front of everyone. She cried a bit because of all the pressure but I was there with her, I told her it's okay and I was also embarrassed yesterday so I know how you feel. I'm glad that she got over it so quickly. He's really a mad dog. No sex life lah he.
The male officers are also good people. Muahaha more boys in my life. Oh yah they don't like to be called boys. They say they only accept being called 'men' or 'guys'. The ah-hem men in my atc group cooked like almost every meal for us because they generally bathe faster than the females. It didn't help also that the stupid toilet is always flooded when we bathe. Actually I feel that atc food tastes better than rc's food. rc's food is like. i think i can cook better than that. HAHAHA no lah of cos not.
so one fine day they made us do 2.4km in the morning by surprise. wah so long never exercise then suddenly 2.4. siao one. the females especially- so poor thing. but in the end there was a sense of achievement. kemakmak! and we also did high ropes. the last time i did high ropes was sec 2 when i was still ''agile'' and ''fit''. now out of shape already! but i managed to complete it despite my arms screaming and tearing and fighting every step of the way. the whole body damn 'sngg'.
nice to having meals with my squad. but i seriously think the mess food should be improved. the NS boys and other officers can't possibly eat that kind of food every day.
looking forward to the next chapter of my life! :)
