I can't understand why all the Mediacorp actors/tresses are AGING. I think it's the make up that they undergo, somehow they just don't look so nice on the telly anymore.
Maybe cos of the camera.
FYI to anyone who bothers, I am using an IXUS 65 that I bought in the fall of 2006 at Plaza Sing. And the lithium (Li) battery is running out in terms of long-term life and I keep missing SO many photos that I would have caught if not for the failing battery.
I saw a cat sitting under a tree and I walked past it cos I was rushing to my unit, but then I had second thoughts after 4 steps and I came back and took a photo of the cat under the tree. And off I went.
I wanted to take a photo of the sky that day. And my Sec 2s doing "PT" ahaahaha and every Sec 1 who were frowning at their test papers. And the combination of the umbrellas at ubin, and dejin when he was sleeping and my OC in his BRIGHT ORANGE SHIRT.
Long long ago I saw job at taka and she was shopping with her sis. Sometimes I wonder how it would be like if i had a sista. Today melvin who passed out already saw me, then he waved hi to me and good morning mam me. And kenneth (passed out also) who is currently in crutches (i wanted to take photo but low batt!) said hi to me too. And i saw jun jie (passed out also) in the canteen and i got the strict face but i waved hi.

Me: Can, but bathing is highly, HIGHLY advisable. (squad laughs)
Me: Oh yah, can you look under Toiletries, there's one big and small towel right? The small towel is for your face, the big towel is for your body.
Jian Xiong: Mam.
Me: Yes.
Jian Xiong: My big towel got one hole, so can I just bring the small towel?
Me: Ask Grace to sew for you.
Sarah: Mam, the swimming costume is one piece or two piece?
Me: Woah! Sarah you want to wear bikini?

My CI was telling me that the reason why Sufiyan (sec 1) joined npcc was because he wanted to march. And today when i peered into my student's school worksheets, I saw this section..

I was..gosh! And then after tuition I went to unit and my CI was doing the total defence bronze with them. Then all the patriotism came out again and i just thought about my country. Hmm.
I marked their test papers today. Neighbourhood Silver, National Heritage and Crime Prevention. Coolness! They all passed! I kind of like lecturing actually. Maybe i'll be a lecturer. Just talk crap that nobody really wants to listen and then mark their papers and grade them SUBJECTIVELY. And look smart in uni. And walk around looking smart, walking around fast.

Badge Fiesta!

My unit is officially mad about NP.
Everything that we do, we do it for NP.
We have NP the whole of this week (this weekend being our ATC), and also next week (re-tests), and the week after that (NCO Camp).
I think if one day I wake up not wearing the blues, my life would become so empty. This morning my CI came to my house to scan her IC (HAHAHAHA CI came to scan her IC) -.-" then after that we walked to our unit together.
I was running all over the house looking for BLACK SOCKS and she was laughing at me. Anyway, when we got there, the cadets were already fallen in and they were waiting for us. Haha so early in the morning they kenna scolded for not knowing what to wear. They quite poor thing also, but I'm such a nice HO, I try to refrain from scolding. Except when I doing revision with the sec 1s for their 3rd class and doing my favourite command, dalam buka barisan, and I got angry because they were not up to standard. I mean, COME ON! It's my favourite command of all time and I love love love dalam buka barisan. (Nope, I don't get a kick out of dalam tutup barisan).
So the sec 1 squad kenna 1x good one. Then they told me they see me around sometimes, and got one time they were playing basketball at some court at the CC and the ball hit me but I didn't bother turning. They confessed that it was them today. Wah they so cute can.
Then last night at 12am they saw me at Macs but they didn't say hi! So I told them, next time if you see us outside, just say hi to us, but in NP you 'jolly well call me Maam'. Muahahaha I can be quite evil sometimes but I think I'm starting to love the sec 1s.
And after that when I went Macs again after dismissal, they were there and they were in MCDONALD'S PRACTICING KNOTS. I told you that my unit is mad about NP. They said hi to me, and when they left they were smiling and waving and walking out of Mc's in a straight line. so cute right??
I didn't regret taking my unit for lmsc because it was through lmsc that i got to see more sides of them. Made a few pleasant discoveries, too. I think NP is so fulfilling, I can see it literally filling up my bottle. I talked to my CI downstairs till 3am and we finally decided that we need to wake up early the next day. Quite nice cos I made new friends. Met more CIs, more HOs, more kfcs and macdonalds. And my CI and I confirmed that we're like grandmothers looking after the kids hahahahahahahahah! We know their love lives, their family type, their grades, their in-school behaviour,... basically we know everything. Plus, we know who's hot and who's not hahahahaha! >.<
I've got to know my Sec 2s better, though. I hear stories that they're "rebellious" and "gangsterish" but i've yet to see it with my own eyes. Hopefully I'd get to talk to them more.
Dear unit. My dear dear unit. I hope you keep your this spirit up, and one day when you leave CCKSS, you'll look back on the NP days with so much love that your spouses become jealous..

Hey some people just can't wait to see their beautiful faces on the photos and hurry me to blog. I can't understand why you want to see my pretty face muahahhaaha.
Anyway, I had a great time with all of you today, so while I promise not to splurge, I decided to take snapshots and be content with the photos.
To Warehouse & Top Shop: I'm VERY VERY SORRY I have to do this, otherwise my GSS will not be complete. Please don't sue me okay, I'm your loyal customer forever and ever but it's just not the right time to spend. Hello? I bought my stuff from you for PROM and several other occasions? :)
The blue dress costs $250+ but on sale it's $179. Pocket burn burn burn. Then the black dress it's a frigging $79 which anne said "it's a frigging $79!" muahaha.
I felt like a bride when I wore the blue dress.
Anyway I think our photos are brilliant, especially the one in which Ade said "UP" for I can't remember what reason. Ade you're so cute, give yourself a pat on the back. Anne bought a pair of sandals from Queenstown and Babe looks pretty in her USA dress. Ade's dress I wont tell the price and Van had to rush to birthday party after that. So it was a short short meeting but very fruitful cos I got to see all of them and talk about Hum Chim PENG.
